Help & FAQ
Quick answers for members, creators, shop owners, service businesses and event organizers.
Discover sneaker shops, creators, events and service businesses. Become a member to create your Passport, invite friends, add listings and request ownership of an existing profile. Other features from the wider SneakerheadDAO platform are paused during this MVP.
Choose Log in / Create account from the menu and follow the secure sign-in screen. Use email or a sign-in provider offered on that screen; you do not need a Replit account or a wallet. Then open Account and save your member profile. A display name is enough to get started.
You can browse published shops, creators, events and services without signing in. The Members directory requires sign-in. Adding or claiming a listing requires a saved member profile.
Open Account to manage your member profile, invitations and onboarding tracks. Choose My Passport in the menu to view your Passport and use its edit controls to update your sneaker identity and sharing settings.
Save your member profile first, then choose Add a listing from the menu. Select the category, fill in the details and save. A listing needs admin approval before it appears in the public directory. Adding a listing is not the same as becoming its verified owner.
Start with your member profile, then open Organizer dashboard in the menu. Submit your organizer profile for verification. Once approved and active, you can create events from the dashboard. Each event still needs publication review.
Yes. Admins can add listings so people can discover them. The owner can later become a member and submit a claim for review. Publication alone does not grant ownership to someone who adds a listing.
Yes. Optional fields such as city, address and opening hours can be left blank. Complete the required fields marked in the form, and only enter information you know. Do not guess a business’s opening times.
New submissions and saved listing edits may be pending admin review. Open My listings to check the current status and any feedback. Saving a listing does not automatically publish it.
Open the listing and use its claim option. You must sign in and save your member profile first; it can remain private. Submit evidence showing that you represent the creator, shop, event or service. Admins review the claim, and the evidence is not shown on the public profile.
Yes, after your claim is approved. Open My listings, find the profile and choose Edit. A pending claim does not grant editing access. Owner edits may return the listing to publication review. Published Laced Up interview and Sneaker Spotlight links are managed by admins.
Use the image field’s photo-library or file-upload controls to choose an image from your phone or computer. Follow the limits shown in the form and wait for the upload to finish before saving. Only upload images you own or have permission to use.
Creators, including customizers, can add portfolio images and direct links to their work in their listing form. Published portfolio images appear on the creator profile. Shops can also add up to three gallery images.
Use the optional social and contact fields in the profile form. Social fields accept a handle or supported profile link. Choose the telephone country code when entering a number. On profiles, the icons open the social account, email app or dialer. These social links are not additional sign-in methods.
Open Account or your own Passport and find Invite friends. Edit the standard message if you wish, then share through WhatsApp, email, X or More apps. You can also copy the invitation or just your personal link. Message edits apply to that visit, and nothing is posted automatically.
Sharing a link does not create a pending referral: the app cannot tell whether someone received or read it. A pending referral appears after an eligible new member joins through your link but has not yet completed the referral requirements.
Successful referrals require an eligible new member to join through your link, verify their email, accept the current terms and privacy policy, and complete their member profile with a display name, bio and city. Self-referrals and duplicate credit do not count. Directories rank listings by the verified owner’s successful member referrals; unclaimed profiles count as zero.
It counts the shops, creators, events and services you originally added that are currently published. Pending or rejected listings do not count. Claiming someone else’s listing does not transfer addition credit. These counts are separate from invitations and do not determine the referral ranking.
When creating a creator, service or organizer profile, select Request a Laced Up Interview. The request is sent when you save the profile. You can also request one later from the profile’s management screen. It goes privately to the admin panel.
Pending means the request is waiting for follow-up. Contacted means an admin has marked it as contacted; Closed means the request is closed. You can see the status on the profile’s management screen. A request does not guarantee an interview, approve a profile or create a public interview link.
No. Appearing in the Members directory is an opt-in setting, separate from Passport visibility. Check both sets of settings before sharing. Member email and telephone details also need their own sharing permission. You can invite friends or claim a listing while keeping your member profile private.
For a profile you manage, use its edit controls and check the review status. For a technical problem, try reloading once, then note the page, what you were doing and the error message so you can report it to the SneakerheadDAO team. Never share your password, sign-in codes or private claim evidence in a public post.
